Curious about GPS, maps, and navigation? This science kit is a digital compass that lights up and points North when fully assembled. You will learn to solder, build, and program the compass using online tutorials and live classes taught by passionate, technology teachers.
You’ll also earn to program and calibrate your compass accurately so you can use it in your own backyard or with friends. The project is appropriate for kids ages (13+) and requires the use of a computer and soldering iron (not included). By the end of this project, you will understand how GPS and navigation work, how to program electronics, and how magnet sensors work. No experience needed to build this project.
