This is the second kit in our Robotics & Mechatronic series. In this kit you’ll be putting together a controller to drive your WiFi Robot that you built in part 1. If you haven’t built part 1 yet, we strongly recommend you purchase that kit first.

Like the WiFi robot, this science kit also introduces you to the world of robots, the mechanics behind them, and what it takes to build a robot from scratch.

You will learn how to build a remote controller to bring your previously built WiFi robot to life.  You will learn fundamental theory, modeling methods, hardware components, interfacing requirements, simulation and programming tools, and practical applications of robotics and mechatronics.

The Robot Controller kit is a stand-alone project but part of a 4-project series that consists of a robot, controller, pen plotter, and robotic arm.

Part 2 is focused on the remote controller for navigating your WiFi Robot.

The age of robots is upon us. They are in our homes, in our workplace, and all around us in the form of drones, driverless cars, heavy duty machinery, etc. This robot kit for kids introduces you to the world of robots, the mechanics behind them, and what it takes to build a robot from scratch.

You will learn how to build a robot controller and use it to navigate your WiFi robot. You will learn fundamental theory, modeling methods, hardware components, interfacing requirements, simulation and programming tools, and practical applications of robotics and mechatronics. You’ll also learn about infrared waves and create your own web server using HTML and CSS.
