Thimble.io Unveils 2023: Empowering Education through Innovation
Another groundbreaking year has passed for Thimble.io, dedicated to revolutionizing education through accessible STEM learning. In line with our mission to empower students and educators worldwide, we’re excited to share the incredible milestones achieved in 2023.
New Curriculum Development
Throughout the year, Thimble.io devoted over 180 hours to developing cutting-edge curriculum content. This effort aimed to provide engaging, hands-on STEM experiences tailored to diverse learning needs.
Global Reach
Internationalization of our platform was a big priority for us this year. We completed two successful pilots in India and one in Kenya- these have given us so many take-aways for how much more we can do. Lastly, we had our first class of students certified in the new curriculum with one of the pilots in India.
Expanding Reach: Schools and Districts
In 2023, our impact expanded significantly. Over 61 schools joined hands with Thimble.io, recognizing the value of our innovative approach to education. Moreover, partnering with 33 districts and onboarding 82 classes underscored our commitment to reaching a broader audience.
Success in RFPs
The year marked success in securing 56+ Requests for Proposals (RFPs). These wins solidify our position as a leading provider of comprehensive STEM education solutions, enabling us to reach more students and communities.
Launch of Creator Set Playground
A highlight of the year was the launch of our new course, the Creator Set Playground. Tailored for grades 4-12, this digital curriculum introduces students to the captivating world of electronics, circuits, and programming. It’s a fun, interactive way for learners to explore and engage with STEM concepts.
Community Growth
In 2023, Thimble.io welcomed 2,632 new users. This growth highlights the increasing recognition and appreciation for our mission to make STEM education accessible and exciting for all.
